If you have ever had to take small steps in life then you should consider listening to my book review.
The story is about an African American boy who lives in Austin Texas. He has just got back from camp green lake and he wants to make himself a better person and in order to do that he needs to take 5 small steps thy are to graduate from high
school, get a job,save money, avoid violence,lose the name armpit. Now that he is trying to accomplish those 5 small steps his buddy X-Ray comes up with a get-rich-scime to sell some tickets. And now they are dealing with pop sensation Karia DeLeon.
my opinion on the book is great because it has is kind of surprising and woah!!! I did not know that was going to happen. And it was cool like the thing that happen with el genius and Kaira. Or what happen with the tickets. And if you are wondering what happen you are just going to have to read the book if you haven't read it already.
I whould recomend this book to people who like like suspence and like action because this book has alot of action. And for people who like kind of love story. I whould tell people that don't like louis scachar books not to read it because it has some characters from holes.

Love: The theme of love is when Armpit and Kaira were at the hotel and they saw each other the first thing they did was kiss and they held hands alot
Embarassment:The theme of Embrassment is when Kaira and armpit were at the coffe place and kaira thew the cup of coffe on armpit

I think i would like to be a rockstar but i would want every one to love me like some people hate hanah montanah and i would not like to be hated and everyone making fun of my songs and people always talking about me and other tan that i would like to be a rockstar and to be little kids idol

In the story x-ray was sent down town to the police department so they have him as a suspect and they think armpit is the victim so they were working together to so they made up a fake guy then they are looking all over for him so they are not going to talk to each othere for a while. And then Kaira called him and told him that she really misses him and if he told evryone he has a rockstar girlfriend you i geuss they are a couple and she said that she really want to kiss him

In the story Kaira DeLeon calls armpit and she asks him if he had got the letterv that she sent him and she was saying how emmbassing it was to send that letter so he had to tell her somthing something embarassing about him and he told her that the song damsel in distess he think that she says his name in the song and she thought it was really silly and out off the question. And then Kaira said that Armpit was her boyfriend and that stupid doofus is dumb because he was there so they did not get the chance to kiss and then she told him that she is going to have a concert and she is going to send a limo to get and drop him off at the airport and he is going to go on a privet jet to the concert

My favorite characters

My favorite character is Kaira DeLeon. She is my favorite character because she is a rockstar and she is cool and i like the way she let armpit and ginny sit on stage when they could not get in the concert when X-ray gave them fake tickets just to sell them to a guy that offered him 200$ for the two tickets each. And then she does not only date rich guys like armpit is her boyfriend and she does not what other people of think of her. My least favorite character is x-ray because he sold them fake tickets and he would do anything for money and he was using armpit's money so he should so he should have just gave him the tickets.

In class right now we are reading a book called Small Steps and it is about a boy named Theodore Johnson A.K.A (armpit) wants to correct himself because he did not do some very good stuff in the past. Here are the small steps he want to take: grauduate high school, get a job, save money, avoid violance, lose the name armpit. But now that he is tryig to do all that he has a nauty friend X-ray that is always looking for the quick buck and a money scam. And X-ray is the brain of the two so he thought it would be a great idea to buy tickets for Kaira DeLeon and then sell them again so all the money came out of armpits pocket but he got all the money back by selling them. And Armpit is in summer school so he is work half the time and going to school and he a meets a pretty girl named Taitiana so then because he has tickets he invites her to go the concert so he tell X-ray to not sell the last tickets. But thing turned out that Taitiana had to do somthing that night so he ended taking Ginny his nexted door naibor and friend she is white and ten years old and she has a dises and her da left her the day of the concert so he ended up taking ginny. And geuss what X-ray had gave them fake ticket he had sold the other ones so they ended up looking at the concert on stage because Kaira herd about what had happened so then that how they wached it on stage.
